Anukriti – The Sustainability and Ethics Cell

At Anukriti, we consider that small daily changes can result in a significant impact in the future. Inspired by the meaning of our name, which translates to "small resemblance," we're dedicated to encouraging students and professionals to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives. These small, consistent actions can gradually affect larger decisions within an organization, leading to zero carbon emissions.

Our initiatives are designed to encourage a culture of sustainability and ethics at IIM Amritsar. Through sustainable projects like e-waste collection and segregation on campus, we propose to make sustainability visible and actionable for everybody. By organizing industry visits to local organizations working towards ethical and green operations, we want to provide students with firsthand insights into actual sustainable business practices.

At Anukriti, we recognize that change starts with awareness, recognition, and small actions. By creating a strong foundation through local initiatives, we envision snowballing into larger initiatives that can not only restore the environment but also enhance lives.
