Objectives of the MBA-BA :

In today's digital era, advancements in e-commerce, IoT, sensor technologies, satellite, and mobile technologies are enabling the collection of vast amounts of data across organizational and social activities. As the capability to gather data expands, so does the necessity for generating actionable insights that offer a competitive advantage. Business Analytics is an emerging field that seeks to enable organizations to generate useful insights about various aspects of their businesses using big data. The integration of AI and machine learning, along with advances in cloud computing, real-time analytics, and advanced visualization tools, are revolutionizing how businesses process and leverage data, transforming data analysis into strategic action.

 

MBA-BA program is aimed at developing professionals who will be able to manage all functions and levels of businesses using their analytical and managerial knowledge and skills.

 

Some specific competencies that we seek to develop are as follows:

 

  • Developing strong foundations in the management of businesses and the role of analytics in highly complex and uncertain environments
  • Solving challenging problems involving big data characteristics such as high dimensionality and, dynamically growing data from different application domains
  • Learning methodologies and tools to enable data-driven discovery, problem-solving, and decision-making
  • Developing skills in data visualization, data structuring and mining, data analysis using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and programming softwares.
