Fees
The MBA fee structure is given below:
- The fees cover Tuition, Books & Case Material, Library, IT & Computer, Hostel & Electricity, Medical & Students' Activities.
- The mess and personal expenses are not included in the above fees. The mess expense is estimated to be Rs. 10,000/- per month payable on an actual basis.
Educational loans are available from Banks. Students may apply to various major Banks for education loan to cover program fees and other expenses. Students can directly contact various banks for eligibility, interest rates and other applicable conditions.
Financial Assistance
Scholarship
The Indian Institute of Management Amritsar offers a limited number of scholarships to eligible students based on their scholastic achievement. These are as follows:
(a) Students securing the highest CGPA in the MBA programme at the end of the first and second year.
(b) Students securing the highest CGPA in the MBA-BA programme at the end of the first and second year.
(c) Students securing the highest CGPA in the MBA-HR programme at the end of the first and second year.
(d) Scholarships are also awarded to the top four students, each from the first and second year, from a combined list of MBA, MBA-BA, and MBA-HR students ranked by CGPA, excluding those covered under (a), (b), and (c) above.
The scholarship amount equals the full tuition fee for the year in which the scholarship is awarded.
Apart from scholastic performance, the Institute also recognises students for their all-round achievements in various extracurricular and co-curricular activities. Several corporations have also instituted awards for students of IIM Amritsar in recognition of academic excellence and all-round achievement.
In addition to this, the Institute also reserves a buffer amount equivalent to the tuition fee specifically to support students through need-based scholarships. This amount is disbursed on a case-by-case basis after carefully evaluating student applications. The Institute will also guide students in availing various external scholarships for need-based assistance.
