Advanced Management Development Programme

Entrepreneurship development serves as a cornerstone of innovation, economic growth, and societal progress. It empowers aspiring and established entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and strategic capabilities necessary to create, manage, and scale successful business ventures while effectively navigating challenges. Recognizing the critical role of entrepreneurship in nation-building, the Office of the Development Commissioner under the Ministry of MSME launched the Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (ESDP) as part of its "Development of MSMEs" initiative.

The Advanced Management Development Programme (AMDP), a flagship initiative under ESDP, is a specialized program designed to inspire and equip individuals from diverse backgrounds, including SC/ST communities, women entrepreneurs, persons with disabilities, ex-servicemen, and individuals from below-poverty-line households. AMDP encourages self-employment and entrepreneurship as viable career paths and focuses on enhancing the capabilities of existing MSMEs. By fostering innovation and resilience, the program aims to cultivate a robust entrepreneurial culture across the nation. The AMDP offers a transformative learning experience through its focused small-group approach, ensuring personalized engagement and tailored content delivery. This immersive format by the Office of Development Commissioner is conducted in collaboration with prestigious institutions and organizations under the Central and State Governments to ensure access to world-class training, leveraging the academic rigour and infrastructure of top-tier institutions to deliver a comprehensive learning experience.

Inclusivity and collaboration form the core of AMDP's approach. The program welcomes MSME promoters, executives, and officers from government bodies, financial institutions, and banks, creating a diverse and dynamic learning environment. By bringing together a wide spectrum of participants, AMDP fosters cross-sectoral collaboration, enabling the exchange of best practices and actionable insights.
