The Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar, initiated its voyage in 2015 and has since established a robust presence within the academic community. IIM Amritsar capitalized on its expertise in quality management education by foraying into the executive education landscape in 2020 by introducing a two-year MBA program called the "Executive MBA," which combines in-person and live online classes. This program aims to provide managerial skills to working management professionals. The hybrid setup aligns with the growing global acceptance of flexible learning methods.
This program targets executives and professionals in the public and private sectors. It benefits mid- to senior-level executives who are about to take on leadership and decision-making roles but may have missed traditional management education. This MBA program is designed to offer participants the flexibility that they desire by scheduling sessions on weekends. This allows the participants to manage their demanding schedules during the week and attend the sessions on the weekends.
