About the Program

Developed in collaboration with Cogoport, a leading global trade platform, and IIM Amritsar, renowned for its excellence in management education, this comprehensive program is designed to equip you with essential skills, knowledge, and practical experience to excel in the dynamic field of international trade. Upon successful completion of the 3 month in-class module, the candidates will get completion certificate from IIM Amritsar & Cogoport.  Our program guarantees full-time placements upon successful completion of the certification and internship at Cogoport. Successful candidates can apply to all open roles and would be preferred for placements. The starting salary at Cogoport is INR 5,00,000. We have been hiring 300+ candidates per quarter. International placement opportunities in Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia are also available for qualified candidates.

Objectives of the program

With the advent of digitization, the international trade industry has been growing and changing very rapidly over the last 5 to 10 years and the job requirements in this industry have evolved. However, the talent pool for this industry has remained the same. In today's scenario, candidates with new skill sets are required, however, it's hard for players in international logistics to find talent with all relevant skill sets. In response to the pressing need to bridge the gap and to support the Indian government's Gati Shakti Program, this partnership has emerged between IIM-Amritsar and Cogoport. It aims to contribute to the India vision by nurturing a new generation of logistics professionals equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to facilitate inclusive trade. By empowering young talent in the sector, this program seeks to align with the government's objective of promoting economic growth and social welfare.

Duration of the program

3 months (in-class Program) + 3 months (Paid Internship)

 Program Delivery

Program will be delivered at Augusta Point, Sector 53, Gurgaon

The facility id equipped with advanced infrastructure, providing an inspiring learning environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology and collaborative spaces, enabling innovation in the ever-evolving logistics industry. The classes will be scheduled between Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. The program participants might also be assigned tasks for group activities, industry talks, and field visits to increase experiential learning.

Campus Immersion at IIM Amritsar: Candidates will have an opportunity to experience week-long Campus & Cultural Immersion at IIM Amritsar where they can interact with faculty and students.

The Program will be delivered by distinguished faculty including renowned professors and Seasoned logistics professionals.

Pedagogy

The Program is designed to be an interesting mix of in class learning through lectures, case-discussions, scenario planning, class activities, role plays, business simulations and group projects.
