Mr. Sachit Jain is the Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Vardhman Special Steels Ltd. He studied Electrical Engineering at IIT, New Delhi, Management at IIM, Ahmedabad, Financial Management at Stanford, USA and the OPM Program at Harvard Business School. He was awarded gold medal at IIM, Ahmedabad in 1989. He played an instrumental role in setting up the Baddi Operations of Vardhman Group and managed them. He built up the treasury operations of the Vardhman Group from scratch to over 2000 Cr investments. He introduced TPM in Vardhman Group. Under his leadership Vardhman Special Steels turnover grew from 250 Cr to 1100Cr. He is actively involved in CII since 25 years and past Chairman of the Northern Region. He is involved in several government bodies in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Valuing his contributions, he was honored by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh and was awarded the Prerna Stotra Puruskar. He has published his first book “READY FOR TAKEOFF”
