Dr. Chhavi Sharma is an Assistant Professor at IIM Amritsar, having earned her Ph.D. from the University of Delhi in 2019, she has been focusing on interdisciplinary applications of Artificial Intelligence. Her academic journey includes roles as a Guest Faculty at FMS, DU, and an Assistant Professor at the University of Delhi, spanning over four years.

She believes in the transformative power of education, aiming to inspire students to think critically and nurture a lifelong curiosity. Dr. Sharma has contributed to reputable journals and presented at prestigious National and International conferences. Her current research explores Artificial Intelligence, Business perspectives of Recommender systems, and the application of Machine Learning for enhanced recommendations. She has been recently researching in the domain of
Artificial Intelligence Policy and completed a four-month certificate course in the area.

Dr. Sharma finds solace in reading and painting outside academia, particularly with gouache paints. For her, being absorbed in nature is calming and rejuvenating, offering tranquillity and creative energy.
