About MBA
Master of Business Administration program at IIM Amritsar is a full-time two-year residential program in General Management with a summer internship in between. Each academic year begins around June/July and ends around March and comprises of three terms each.
MBA program is designed to:
- Prepare students for success in career and life by becoming self-driven lifelong learners
- Develop analytical, communication, managerial and leadership competencies
- Understand management of businesses in highly complex and uncertain environments
- Have a global perspective and entrepreneurial acumen
- Handle current and emerging business issues especially application of information and communication technology, sustainability of business, human rights, among others
- Manage business based on values, fairness and justice
Objectives of the MBA
Master of Business Administration Program at IIM Amritsar is a full-time two-year residential program. The mission of our MBA Program is as follows:

- Understand the management of a business in highly complex and uncertain environments
- Handle current and emerging business issues, especially the application of information and communication technology, the sustainability of a business, human rights, among others
