MBA BA Program Design and Curriculum
MBA Business Analytics program is aimed at developing professionals who will be able to manage all functions and levels of businesses using their analytical and managerial knowledge and skills.

First Year of the program
- Preparatory program: The Institute offers a 2-week compulsory preparatory program for selected students to enhance their readiness for the MBA BA program.
- Orientation program: The orientation program familiarizes students with the IIM way of learning and acquaints them with the infrastructure, services, and student activities at IIM Amritsar.
- First-Year Courses: The first-year courses are compulsory and provide basic conceptual knowledge and analytical tools in different functional areas of management.
- Summer Internship: All students undergo eight to ten weeks of summer internship after the program's first year. Summer internship helps students to apply their first-year learning by doing organizationally sponsored projects. Student performance in their summer internships often results in final placement offers.

Second Year of the program
Second-year MBA BA comprises core courses in data analytics and the electives in Business Analytics spread across fourth, fifth and sixth term of the program.
Students can also choose elective courses from among area specializations like Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Information Systems & Analytics, Production & Quantitative Methods, Business Strategy, Economics, and Communication.
Additionally, students will also be required to go through a compulsory Capstone Project in the second year under the guidance of Institute faculty.
