Research Project

Students apply the theories, concepts and analytical tools learnt in the 1st and 2nd year to work on a research project.

Internships
  • The program offers an opportunity for deep interaction with industry at various stages.
  • At the end of 2nd year, the students are expected to undertake a Social Involvement Project (SIP) designed to sensitize the students to the issues faced by society at large and contemplate innovative ways to resolve these challenges.
  • At the end of 3rd year of the program, students who opt to continue in the 4th year will have to do a summer internship of 8-10 weeks with corporates. IIM Amritsar hosts recruiters from some of the leading companies in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) and Fintech sectors in the country.
