This post is to clarify some apprehensions that you may have had over the last couple of days.
Please note that no change has been made to our admission criteria post the personal interviews, and the candidates have been offered admissions as per the criteria mentioned on the IIM Amritsar website.
The waitlist number that was released on the 27th of May, 2021, was excluding the gender diversity component of 5% that is mentioned on our website, which may have caused some confusion and concerns regarding the subsequent waitlist movement.
To ease your minds and ensure transparency in the process, we will release the updated waitlist ranks for each category, which includes the gender diversity component, on Monday, the 14th of June, 2021.
Kindly note that the waitlist movement will only happen in any category if there are vacant seats available in that category.
